Gin of Morally Grey joins Manny and we await news of 9.1. This week we talk about the Burning Crusade Classic Beta as well as several new ventures backed by Blizzard alumni. The conversation takes a turn into the many hobbies we enjoy outside of WoW. We also take several questions from listeners on this week’s For Azeroth!

The Burning Crusade Classic Arrives

The Closed Beta Test of the Burning Crusade went live this week.

  • An error caused some players who had the Classic beta to be able to download the TBC Classic beta client
  • This caused a false start to the beta a day before the actual launch on Tuesday March 23rd
  • There are currently no keys for the beta and accounts will be flagged in waves as has been the case for several previous testing cycles
  • Currently those invited to the beta can test content up to level 64.
  • PvP content is not available for testing at this time.
  • The use of third-party addons is disabled.
  • Rumours of a Deluxe Edition are circulating with datamined bonuses:
    • Warp stalker mount
    • Dark portal toy
    • Path of Illidan toy
  • The Burning Crusade Classic Beta Has Begun!
